    Carrion Crow with a difference

This was an interesting sighting in my garden as this crow has white outer wings which were very visible during flight which is what drew my attention to it . I assumed it was a degree of Leucism in the bird but someone on another forum I frequent suggested it may be due a calcium deficiency during its last moult.

Interesting, well caught Steve. A few years back we had one like this that hung around the garden for almost a year, it was however often attacked by the other Crows
