    West River Dart Huccaby

One of my favourite spots on Dartmoor, the West River Dart at Huccaby early morning. Just before it joins the East River Dart at Dartmeet to become the River Dart. The Oak tree's are festooned with lichens, mosses and ferns an indicator of quality air.

Fabulous place for a nice picnic and perhaps afterwards, pull out the fly rod and see if the Brownies are biting.

Quire right too. Far more satisfaction than a lake stocked with rainbows.

Have you ever fished there Colin, it seems quite a popular spot although I think its private fishing. Its also a nice spot for Dippers
