    Not easy Alan, especially with a depth of field of next to nothing.

    I rather like the colour popping to attract attention to where you want it, but I think it works better on the second image. For some strange reason, instead of a pupil on the first image, it looks like a hole. Perhaps because she is looking further away from the camera. Either way, original well executed work.

        I agree with Colin...the direction of the light source in the first one casts a lot of shadow on the white of the eye whereas the light is more evenly distributed on the second.
