    Rothamsted

Rothamsted, for those of you that don't know it, is an old mansion house bequeathed to a trust many years ago, which is now an agricultural research centre, based just on the edge of Harpenden. Where better to do some research into ICM?

I would love to know what you think.

    Thanks for looking

Both amazing Richard, but my preference is for the second one.

The colouring is a little more natural and there appears to be more of a solid base. Not easy to put feelings into words when dealing with the abstract.

Definitely the first one for me Richard, it’s brighter and has more appeal to me. The second one for me is too sombre

Thanks both. The first one was actually just in the air without any grounding! And I have been contemplating lightening the bottom of the second one - perhaps a gray 50% layer with a touch of white, or a painted orange layer on overlay and low opacity. I will contemplate!

But thank you both for the feedback!

First one works as a pure abstract and the combination of blue and red works a treat - doesn't really say forest though...

The second on the other hand truly evokes the sense and feeling of a forest and far more so than the original straight shot(s) ever could, it's a cracker and well worth space on anybody's wall.

First one doesn’t appeal to me but really like the second.

                Hi Richard

2nd one for me as it tends to pull me into the shot more than the first.
