We were quite lucky with the weather. If something could be changed, it would the direction where the Sun was...

Well captured shots of a pretty French design of a trainer.

I always liked the V tail design, but whatever did they do to the cockpit? You could easily get four people in there. Must have been lunchtime when they designed that cockpit.

            :)
            Thanks Colin.
I suppose the spacious cabin is for having the pilot's daily French Loaf (and Wine) portion with you...

              Re: Fouga CM.170 Magister

Looks are deceiving, as you can see there is not a lot of room , two shots not by me of the one I flew in

behind the rear seat the glazed portion covers radio stuff, indeed it is often painted over as you can't see out behind the seat, t is just there for streamlining, centre bit and fron is where your legs live.

Taken by me on finals to Leuchars

              Canon 1DX, 50D, EF500 F4.0 L, EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L I , EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF70-200 f/2.8L II, EF180 f3.5L Macro, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF17-40 f/4L, EF2.0X III, EF1.4X III, 430EX II, MR-14EX...

Yes, you are right, but Colin still has point - that rear end of the canopy could have been designed differently. Why did it have to be bulky for the radio?

Nevertheless, polished aluminium, the wings and the special tail made this plane quite nice looking.
