      Nice couple of shots, excellent exposure on the whites. Lovely calm water too.

        I prefer the 2nd one Stan, the first looks a bit bleached out on my monitor.

              thanks for looking guys

              the first looks a bit bleached out on my monitor.
              always difficult to get detail in the feathers of little egrets even when the whites are nowhere near blown. The two images although shot at the same time were processed a day apart and i did not reference one against the other the processing would account for the difference

                          Pity there was a ripple on the water it would have been a perfect reflection
                          at the location lucky to get the water as calm as it was as there is always some wind.

                          Just seen the published picture, was surprised to see it takes over half the page and looks better than i had expected when printed on newsprint
