    Solarisation

I have been experimenting with solarisation and the two images below are a first try.

The original pictures were long exposure using a ND10 filter, another experiment. I have taken these and the solarisation has been done differently for each image using Lightroom CC. The normal adjustments that are available have been altered so that the resulting image is to my liking. I’d be interested to hear other views and opinions.

The original pictures are fairly bland but I think that solarisation does give them more interest.

    Re: Solarisation

The first, being a very simple composition, works better than the second. From what I remember of solarisation back in the days of film pictures without to much fine detail seemed to work best.
