Oh what a glorious thing to be.....

    A healthy, grown-up, busy-busy bee
First on the cornflower, then on the rose
Stinging all the ladies on the parson's nose..

(with apologies to Arthur Askey for the bowdlerisation)

SWMBO and I were at Tyntesfield today, enjoying the sunshine, as was this busy little bee - terrific amount of pollen on the legs!

the bee is rather small in the frame but you have caught him well as he approaches the flower

Cropping left and right to a portrait orientation would make a much better composition

Thanks Stan - your preference would be for something more along these lines....

I quite liked the first version, but following Stan's suggestion, the second version is much improved.

I like both but prefer the first image

What a great shot - well caught. Its the first one for me with a bit more habitat showing.
