    Backlit- Red Squirrel silhouette

    With this shot the sun was shining directly behind the squirrel, so there was very little colour in the squirrel.
    I decide to turn it into a silhouette by changing the squirrel mono in PS.

    Great pose, but I am not sure of the mono. Would love to see the original.

        Different, not a fan of b&w myself, but it's a nice shot

          Sorry it does not work too well for me either, i much prefer to see any wildlife in their natural colours unless the animal is more or less black snd white to start with, eg a zebra, them going completely mono can work well. Here your effect is like a colour pop which needs the right subject to work

            I'm afraid I have to agree with the other comments. It would work as a silhouette.

              Oh well I'll be the odd one out. I quite like it, it's different although I think it would be better if it were darker and a complete silhouette.

                      As Stan says I think the subject has to be right for a mono to work with an animal
