Looks like you managed to pick a very good day for reflections. If it was mine, I would crop in from the left, almost to the first of the shorter posts.

      Perfect reflection.

I agree with John's crop suggestion. As it is not adding anything to the shot, might as well get rid of it.

Lovely shot Chris, I rather like it as it is.

Thanks for looking and the comments. I've tried the crop as suggested but I'm not 100% convinced! I think it must be the wildlife photographer in me saying "Give the boats some space to look into the frame!" Anyway, here it is:

I've got a slightly different view but I've still left some space:

Nope the crop destroys that wide open big sky feel of the original, that is what Norfolk landscape is, big skies and flat open space, if I do crop a landscape like that I often make them seem even wider by reducing the top and bottom of the image, like a lot of painters do like Ron Lawson's work for example

I like the original photo, well spotted.

Thanks tiger. I went again this morning but today's high tide wasn't anywhere near as high as yesterday's - I'm glad I got these shots as no reflections at all today.

We are spoilt for choice in the uk with good locations, I must try more landscapes and a bit less wild life this coming year.

That would be good, especially living in Scotland. Sometimes I think this has turned into an RSPB forum.
