Re: Sunrise Over The Orlando Wetlands Today
Good sunrise that...
Perhaps a bit too much deep black foreground though on the large Flickr version there is discernible shadow detail, would it lift a bit in post production and make the foreground less heavy?...Nigel

Re: Sunrise Over The Orlando Wetlands Today
I love it - I think the contrast between the light and the dark is part of the essence of the image, so I would not favour lifting the foreground shadows.
However, I do think it would be worth investigating reducing the depth of the foreground, perhaps going so far as to take it up almost to the water line, thus giving a slanting lead-in left to right which is then reversed when your eye meets the RHS and follows the light from right to left. (Having just read that over to check it, it sounds a bit precious, but I think the suggestion is still worth looking at!)John Liddle

Re: Sunrise Over The Orlando Wetlands Today
Any photo I shoot is always overshot deliberately. The reason is I did professional film photography and my photos do go to print. That one just went on display and here is final print which should cure all your woes. You just get the full photo...
