    Wow, like that Richard.

Looks like London is on fire ............. not necessarily a bad thing!

Thanks! Not so sure about London since I work there (occasionally!)

I used to work there a lot, hence my tongue in cheek comment.

My initial impression was that it was too “spikey” for want of a better expression. The orange and yellow globes stand out in the sky on the right side and to me they seem separate from the main picture. The reflections in the water are good, I like those

I like seeing these but overall this one doesn’t work quite as well for me.

I have to admit I am glad it is no longer "a lot"! Apart, of course, when I get to take my camera in to work!

Fair enough! "Spikey" was good for me on this one, so I am glad I achieved that. I was looking for a slightly different feel, and in some ways that reflects my sense of London - a bit "spikey"! In fact, as I was taking one of the 30 sec exposures I was offered "weed" and asked if I could give my aspiring supplier a job in a bank, because I was "obviously a millionaire" who worked in a bank... (not true as it happens, I don't work in a bank!)

This one works much better in the larger version on Flickr. I'm not sure the branches top right corner though - I find them a bit distracting as they unbalance the shot relative to the darkness of the top left corner.

Overall it's effective but perhaps not a strong as some of your other work.

....but not amongst my favourites of your work sorry...maybe I just don’t like spikey!
