    Goodwood Visits

Have not posted for a while ...

Over the last three weeks have been down to Goodwood several times for various Track and Test Days. Here is a purely random selection.

          Re: Goodwood Visits

Love em all, but I am intrigued by the Webbers.

Four twin chokes and the dizzy shout a V8 motor.
Engine bay layout and part of a windscreen wiper indicate front engined.
Part of the engine I can see looks more American than Italian.
There is an "englishness" to the windscreen, wiper and curve of the scuttle.
Therefore, my logic points towards Sunbeam Tiger, or AC Cobra.
Continuing that logic, Tigers were mostly Road, Cobras mostly race - Goodwood is a racetrack for classics - gotta be a Cobra.

Thank you Robert, cheered me up on that one, as not not a lot of hard evidence to start with.

Lovely set Robert. -- When I see pic's like that it brings back my mad youthful days and my Mini Cooper that ended its days wrapped around a lamp post.
