    Canon 6D Focus Point

    Hi

Been out for a walk today and looking at the later photos the focus point has been fixed on a single point. This was not how is was set up when I started, see below.

The camera is carried over the shoulder and the change in focus point seems to occur when out walking. What button is being pressed and anyway to disable it? I normally have the focus set for auto selection of all points.

    Thanks

    Chris

On the rear of the camera the top extreme right hand button is pressed to set the focus point in conjunction with the wheel by the shutter release. Press button and rotate the wheel to scroll through the focus points. It also works by rotating the wheel by the set button on the rear.

I am guessing that the button gets pressed against your body while walking and one of the wheels is also being moved somehow while the button press is active.

You beat me to it. Same explanation, nothing to add except power down when you are not using the camera.
