This shot was a real challenge exposure wise , we knew there was a tiger moving through the undergrowth as the alarm calls were getting closer to our jeep as the animal moved towards us , our driver positioned us alongside what was the only brief break in the foliage in the hope the cat would walk through it and give us a view of this beautiful 2yr old male. The only problem from a photography point of view was the real intense bright sunlight which was heavily illuminating the clearing making for a really difficult exposure. I knew I would have no time to make any changes if the animal appeared so had to make a judgement and stopped the lens down and under exposed the shot by 2/3rds and hope for the best .
The thrilling part was as our driver predicted ,the Tiger walked straight through the clearing before quickly disappearing again. I did not get the exposure right but at least got something I could have a go at in post processing.
