    Another Red

Lot's of activity, I spread some peanut butter on the log and studded it with peanuts hoping this would lure out the Pine Marten, I did see it again in the distance, but it was very elusive. The two resident Squirrels ate it all!!

Like that Bernie, our reds feeder is right next to the peanut butter jar in the garden, but they never bother with the butter, just go into the peanut box, always surprises me. All the more for the woodpecker & chaffinch.

Thanks guys, that log is some distance from the hide, I was experimenting with the lens, this is the 500mm on it's own, I took some with the 1.4 extender and also with the 2x using manual focusing. This bokeh is lost when the extenders are added, the image is cropped a bit and that's it.

A well composed image, though on my monitor the light looks a little harsh.
