    The male has been hovering quite a bit this week and finally managed to get him this morning

      That's really good Stan. Most of us will be pleased just to capture one perched. This is a cracking image that has taken some skill.

                  the shutter speed looks spot on.
                  it was only 1/320. The next time he hovered he was more against the sky with a much faster shutter speed and managed around 10 sharp shots, only problem was he was facing away from me in all of them
