            You were lucky its tail was laying in the same direction as it is looking, which makes for a very strong composition.

                            I have a new respect for you squirrel images Stan. Had my first ever visit to Brownsea three weeks ago. After speaking to a guy with a large telephoto, he suggested walking down into the woodland area to the rear of the church. I did see several but they stayed in the dense vegetation where it was pretty dark, so no shots worth speaking of.

                              All my shots have been from that area, which i discovered by chance about 6 years ago, used to go into the Dorset Wildlife Trust section by the villa but that was always hit and miss. The only problem with the woodland is the canopy gets quite dense, so quite dark until the leaves fall, so now and then again Feb through April are the best times. Also did you take any hazelnuts, as once you have got their attention they will return to the same logs time and again
