                      Nicely caught Stan
                      Must admit to being surprised at the number of people saying they had never seen one hovering, following another pic a few weeks ago. It's quite common to see them hovering, usually it's at a distance though and the only time it's happened close to me was when I had just put my camera in it's bag and closed the hide window !!! ,

                        I have seen them hovering occasionally at a distance at Warnham, West Sussex but in the 5 months of watching and shooting both male and female at this Stour location, it is only in the last couple of weeks that there was any hovering and then quite regularly
