Excellent, the trouble we have here is far to much urban light spill, I remember as a kid going to cubs and staring up at the stars and dreaming, today you just get an orange glow, though the new LED street lighting and turning loads off at night is starting to help.Canon 1DX, 50D, EF500 F4.0 L, EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L I , EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF70-200 f/2.8L II, EF180 f3.5L Macro, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF17-40 f/4L, EF2.0X III, EF1.4X III, 430EX II, MR-14EX...

Hi Tony ..
Yeah we get that here too, just not nearly so much.
There is one direction I can't shoot in ("wont" might be a better term) because of the dreaded orange glow.
If I want to get away from it entirely, I have to do a little car trip.
I don't know where you are, but I read stories of Americans traveling 3 hours to find dark skies in the deserts to get their shots.
Now that's dedication!
