    Nice shot Stan, somebody told me once that Skylarks only sing on the ground when they feel threatened, I have a photo of one singing on the ground with it’s crest raised so interesting to see what anyone else thinks

    another eye level flat on the ground shot

    somebody told me once that Skylarks only sing on the ground when they feel threatened, I have a photo of one singing on the ground with it’s crest raised so interesting to see what anyone else thinks
    thats interesting and having investigated on the net,I can find nothing about them singing on the ground so dont know what the answer is
