    BBMF Public Display Approval

    Hi All,

Yesterday was a big day for the BBMF Pilots, as every year they have to gain approval to fly their displays before the Public, there was some lovely blue skies but a tad hazy for any distant shots

                      Re: BBMF Public Display Approval

Outstanding - I have tickets for the big d day meeting at Duxford next week, not shot a lot of planes against sky so will be a challenge for sure.

                      Dax over Duxford

If I manage anything half as good as these I will be more than happy - taking the 1DXII 70-200 2.8 mkII with the 1.4 ext. think the 200-400 may be too much!

Thanks David, very kind, I would say that your choice of Lens is spot on, you can guarantee they will be a bit spread out

                          Hey Paul,
Posted mine up in a separate post - if they had flown in formation / group as we had expected it would have been the perfect lens choice, sadly the majority were single / twin only so major crops - BUT for my first go at aviation stuff I am pretty happy. will be checking your settings out for possible future attempts ;-)

                          .DAVID.
