    Negatives onto PC

A friend of mine has hundreds of negatives he would like to view on his computer.

    How can he do this?

Cull them down to the ones he really, really, really, wants to look at and then scan them... Scanning them personally will be quite long winded, even before considering the most minimal editing time, while commercial, professional, scanning services will be expensive albeit quicker.

There's no real quick fix that I know of...

You need either a dedicated negative scanner or an attachment to use a normal scanner
