They work well as an HDR, but look a lot better on Flickr.

Nice set john, like the composition in the second shot.

Nice set, they work well, my only thought is that I think I would cut a bit off the bottom of #2

Really nice set, John, I really like them all. The first has great textural detail in the foreground which fades to mist in the background, the second has such perfectly positioned gate posts that lead you out into the background, and the last is a wonderful point of view to make the most of the architectural structure of the plants. Excellent.

              Thanks folks

The first I'd originally discarded as my truck was parked in front of the lime kiln but, with so few images from the afternoon, thought I'd see what 'content aware fill' would do and the truck magically disappeared! I didn't even bother touching it up.

It's not very distinct in the second shot due to the flatness of the light but there is a reasonably well-trodden path from the bottom left leading to the wall. I was trying to use that as a lead-in before the eye is taken along the wall then zig-zagging up the hill.

The third one was a second take as the first that I cropped in camera to the bottom of the reeds but felt that there was insufficient lead-in to the lagoon beyond.

              Cheers,
              John

All three are great well done. My favourite is the second one.
