The sand martins have returned to their nesting site in the middle of town, opposite a public path.

There are some at Blashford Lakes, but in artificial nest and against the light.

Much too far away as well to get a shot like Gary, although a couple of weeks back one landed on the branch just to the left of the hide but was gone before I could lift the camera
