Sabines Gull

Quite a rare visitor, Sabines Gull. Spends most time out at sea.

Beautiful and graceful, sometimes mistaken for juv kittiwake due to wing pattern. Though slate grey head with black neck band, yellow tip to beak and red eye ring are diagnostic. Also has black legs.

Thanks for comments. Iceland was a fantastic place for photography. Massively expensive though.

Background is OF large lumps of ice that have broken of a glacier.
