    Cuckoo Spit

Cuckoo spit or to be correct the froth which surrounds the nymphs of insect of the Cercopidae family also known as Frog Hoppers. Which one this is I have not got a clue, but I just liked the reflection from the droplet at the bottom.

That's an unusual subject well captured.

Have you considered darkening down the bright needle off to the left?

Interesting image, was talking to my neighbour about this. She didn't realise it was home to insects.

That might be similar to a spittlebug that we have here. I've wanted to compose one of those for many years now. My current Frankenstein rig should be able to, with just 2X I couldn't get close enough to do what I wanted.

Nicely done, I see a lot of these, could make a good macro shot also.
