When you see those serried ranks of memorial stones it brings home the scale of loss on all sides.

              Nice use of the curves.

Might be worth seeing if there's a way of losing the slab right at the bottom.

Nice image. Have visited war grave cemeteries in Italy and found the scale of loss of life very moving.

Yes John, I've just spent time in Northern France & Belgium filming at the cemeteries, it leaves you gutted to see the scale of it. In the picture I posted there are the names of 55000 on the back wall with no known grave. I don't mind admitting there were times when it brought tears to my eyes. I was left wondering what they would think if they could come back today and see the wretched state this country is in.

It would be a complete insult to all those who made ultimate sacrifice to clone out anything.

Sorry if my last two post seemed a bit harsh,it was not intended. This subject is very close to my heart, having been involved in conflicts around the world and lost some very good friends.

Cracking shot, everyone should go at least once to this area, such a moving experience.

Thanks Paul fully agree. I Have very strong feeling over this, hence I gave my time free of charge to do this filming in the hope that more school groups will visit the area in years to come -- It must never be forgotten.
