Puffin in Flight

These little devils are pretty quick in the air. They have to be to avoid getting "mugged" by the Black Headed Gulls.

I have shots of Puffins in flight, but never frame filling and never with a beak full of sand eels, so I was on a mission to get the shot.

he certainly has a mouthful

last year they were waiting until the puffin had landed and mugging just before they reached their burrows
