    Excellent shot Burnie, even more so if it was wild. Small rodents are not easy targets, I keep meaning to get my small rodent set-up up and running again.

          Thanks guys, this is in the forest I visit regularly, a few feet above it is a feeder with some seed and sunflower hearts in, the birds are messy feeders and this Vole often shoots out to grab something and then vanishes, on this occasion I was ready for it.

                Thanks for the kind comments all, this forest has quite a few long eared and tawny owls, so I guess there must be a good population of small critters. I intend to spend some time here later in the day into the dark to see just what does live here.

                  same at the woodland hide at Blashford but dificult to get such a clear shot there.

                  It looks a little dark, perhaps lift the exposure by half a stop
