    Black Beach, Iceland

    Tried to capture shot of the ice that washes up on the beach

      A great composition with exposure that shows just how good that lens is all creating an image that simultaneously makes me want to take the first flight to Iceland while also pouring myself a G&T

        Thanks for comments Colin and John, the squarish block was about 2 foot square. . This was my least successful part of the Iceland trip largely due to the unpredictable waves. They call them sneaker waves, out of no where a wave will be much bigger and get a lot further up the beach.

                  The perils of shoreline photography, won't be the first time I've gone home with wet feet thanks to the occasional overenthusiastic sneaky wave...

                  Great shot with excellent composition, particularly the way the clouds partially echo the arrangement of the ice blocks.
