Same here Steve, it started last night this end. I eventually got there but it took the best part of ten minutes. I have slow internet at the best of times, living in an isolated location in the middle of woodland, but it's never been as bad as it is now

My internet is not the best but good enough to do everything I need to do and all my other applications are working fine so must be a Flickr issue , It has been a nightmare for me since Smugmug took it over and I always seem to have niggling problems with it but today was worse than ever. Trouble is they are crap at responding to issues as well and take weeks to get back to you , thinking long and hard of calling it a day with them if they cant get it more reliable than it is.

I haven't been able to log on to my Flickr account for ages, which is why I haven't posted anything lately. When I try to sign in it keeps telling me my password is wrong. They then send me a verification code to reset my password, but I still can't log in. If EOS Forum didn't rely on Flickr for quality of uploading I would do the same as Steve and call it a day.

I too am unable to access my Flickr account from my PC. It says something about me having moved to a new sign in system with a different email address. However my PC only has a stored password for Flickr with the original Yahoo email!
However I can still se my account using an App on my phone, sadly the App doesn’t show any login details!

I had a problem logging in initially after the change, incorrect password. It said the password was still wrong even after I changed it, the problem turned out to be that the email address is case sensitive, mine worked after I corrected it. Whether this is different from before of not I don’t remember.

I’ve had no problems since (touch wood!), speed has been quite acceptable, unchanged from before

I don't really want to set up another account and why should I? I should be able to sign in to my existing one!

if nothing else it would allow you to post images here while you tried to sort out your issue

Thanks Stan. Even if I wanted to the service is temporarily unavailable and has been for quite a while.

I think Flickr needs to get a grip of themselves. There don't seem to be any point of direct contact with them to sort problems. Some two or so years ago when I was having problems with them I closed my account and open a new one and just up-loaded everything that I needed too again.

I've now managed to login to my account. It seems I must have updated the email address that is associated with my Flickr account. As I have one that I use for this on-line sort of thing I started the sign in using that email and requested a password reset.
That has now fixed my login problem. My next task is to reduce the number of images that I have on that Flickr account. However as I don't wish to pay a "Pro" subscription I may do as Stan (I think) suggested and set up another account just for images to post on forums.

                              Re: Flickr Issues

I've finally been able to access my account. After no response from Flickr to several emails I contacted Smugmug. Bingo, almost by return I received an email from Flickr. After having to go to extreme lengths to prove my identity (I used my website to cross reference images on Flickr) they finally accepted it was indeed me.
