    Skogafoss Waterfall

Weather for Iceland trip was brilliant.

Yes the sky was that blue, the sun made exposure a bit tricky but gave nice rainbow in the spray.

    Wonderful.

I look forward to going there. That's a definite, as it's on Mrs C's Bucket List.

What a lovely shot. And it looks like you had the place to yourself as well. Well done.

Iceland is well worth a visit. Very expensive these days due to Sterling decline. Don't underestimate travelling times, Iceland is a big place and combined with 90kph speed limits journeys are a bit longer than we might estimate in UK.

Depending on time of year and what permissions you have (from Mrs C) I a can give you location if reserve where we photographed the Red Throated Divers. About 1hr from Reykjavik. Other places we went too are much further afield.

Skogafoss is nowhere as busy as Seljalandsfoss which is only 20mins up the road. Not exactly deserted but there were times when there was very few people there.

A very powerful image with just about the right shutter speed for the water

                    Cheers,

                      Fabulous!!!
Is it true that the horses there have such flat backs that you don't need a saddle?
Perhaps you could investigate Colin.....it could make a nice project.

Can't say I've heard this one about the horses. I'm sure Colin would be pleased to investigate
