    Ooops!!

I managed to fumble handling my 5D4 plus 24-104 yesterday evening and as a result they tumbled down a flight of 6 stairs to the bathroom floor. Fortunately the floor and stairs have a thick pile carpet and underlay and nothing broke off or looks damaged. It was a bit of a stomach-churner as it happened though!

So far all seems to be working as it should - testament to the build quality of Canon kit I guess.

      Re: Ooops!!

A few years back I was changing lens in a car park. Had the 100/400 on the camera attached by the Blackrapid harness, released the lens catch on the camera (7D Mkll) while holding the lens, let go the camera and -- all I can say it was good there was not a vicar around at the time !!!!!
Put the 150/600 S on the camera and off I went, have had no problem with the camera whatsoever. Only damage after hitting concrete a scuff mark on the lug that the camera strap attaches too.
