Peacock Butterfly

One of of over 50 I counted on my Buddleia bush today in the garden plus a number of other including Painted Lady , Comma and Gatekeeper . Never seen so many butterflies at one time in the garden , they were everywhere and a beautiful sight to see.

Lovely shot Steve. Interesting, you say you had over 50 species on your Buddleia, yet down here you never seem to see a butterfly on the Buddleia's these days, where I can remember in my younger days every Buddleia was alive with butterflies.

Sorry if I mislead you in the post Trev , I was trying to say I counted over 50 Peacocks on the Buddleia today plus a host of other butterfly species and assorted bees , hornets etc
