Baby Elephant

Taken a couple of years ago at Mala Mala in the Sabi Sand, South Africa. We were in a dry river bed surrounded by a herd of elephants, which in itself is a memorable experience. This little chap was having a great time kicking up the sand.

EOS 1DX with 300mm f/2.8L IS II lens and 1.4 III converter.

Lovely action shot Brian.
Was in a similar situation once, dried up water hole. Was with a Producer, we were being driven around by a Game Warden, when we were charged by a very large Bull Elephant. Never seen anyone put a vehicle in reverse so quick - we just shot backwards!
