Water Vole

In the trip to the local wildlife brooks a little while ago I was lucky enough to see this little fella charging about the pond. He never kept still and I was always in the wrong place until the very end when I managed to get this.

Well caught Ian, not easy creatures when they are on the move and when you do get them stationary there's always vegetation in the way. But nice natural shot of it in its environment.

Thank you for the comments all, appreciated.

It was indeed Pulborough wildbrooks, the exact location was the pond at redstart corner. I was there to photograph mayflies but that went out of the window when the vole was spotted, all the rest of the time was spent trying to get a decent pic of him!
