SWMBO & I treated ourselves to a day or two in Plymouth, to co-incide with the Fireworks Championships.
We were blessed with reasonable weather, although a little windy (before the skies opened on Friday!).
There were 6 companies competing, but one failed to produce a display due to a truculent computer throwing a hissy fit.
At first, I thought the small vessels (full of beer-swillers) were going to be a PITA, but actually they proved useful, in that they give some sense of scale - these were BIG fireworks - being fired just over 500 metres away from where we were watching.
