Very nice - some good ones where you've been able to catch the locos the 'right way round' on Flickr - not to mention donkeys

                Thanks Guys !
Bob - The Donkeys are for my wife , she loves them ! The thing with the locos the right way round is that we get a good view out of the cottage with them heading north tender first (well apart from 'Eric Treacy' who for some reason - i think to ensure the bearings are worn evenly - runs the other way round ) , i was told that the reason it's tender first North is because of the long Gradient climb (1 in 49 ) from Grosmont to Goathland and it puts less stress on the locos apparently . It was really nice of the cottage owner to grant us access to her garden to get a few shots from a different angle .
Peter - We had a superb holiday ! Probably one of the most relaxing for a very long time . The Meals we had on the trains were fantastic as usual , we took the Sunday Pullman one as our actual Anniversary , have to say the curry train was another belter ! Thoroughly enjoying the 6 25yo whiskies we opened up as well !!!! On our actual Anniversary we went (surprisingly) to a Whisky Distillery down the road at Hunmanby and got to sample some of their wares......
