90D/M6 mkII - lot and lots of info

Note there are leaks all over the place for these.

Videos by Canon (mistake by Canon Australia):
    (90D) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zy5BG_hX_Y
    (M6-II) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAuaLe7dJmg

    Spec sheets:
    (90D) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p8s...1lEy0gsBZ/view
    (M6-II) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ELQ...PtUDSVkBM/view

Says the 90D has 45 cross AF points with 88%/100% coverage and a 1/16000th shutter!

E&OE of course, but the videos must be legit, no idea if the spec sheets are pre-release or final.

This confirms Canons commitment to EF and dSLRs I think...but will need to be competitive against the RP .....unless of course there is a big enough market for APSC format and non-mirrorless

The M6 Mark II is currently rated to shoot 14 fps. A significant up-tic over the EOS R.

Ahead of official announcement next week, Canon has already leaked EOS 90D and EOS M6 Mark II, here is a quick specs comparison of Canon EOS 90D, Canon EOS M6 Mark II, Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Canon EOS 80D. Feature 90D M6 Mark II 7D Mark II 80D Sensor Resolution 32.5 MP 32.5 MP

The M6-II shutter only goes to 1/4000th though, also both the optional (extra cost) viewfinders (EVF-DC1, EVF-DC2) are 2.3MP.
The R is 1/8000th and 3.69M dots (and as someone who owns a camera with the 3.69MP EVF and has/had ones with 2.3MP I can recommend the former).
Pretty sure people would struggle more with a 400/2.8 on a M6 over the R tho ;-)
BTW the table misses the M6-II's 30fps Raw shooting mode.

BTW the high ISO dynamic range of the new sensor look promising on some initial tests...
