    Tarbert in Blue

Just for clarity and in case anyone is about to ask their SatNav to take then there. This "Tarbert" is on the Isle of Harris and is not to be confused with other Tarberts/Tarbets that exist in Scotland. My SatNav seems to those without an "r"

having arrived at the rental cottage we were staying in I, in between rain showers, decided to wander down to the Marina. Taking only a tripod and camera. I made a number of images concentrating just on the marina at the right side of the frame timing them to catch the red warning light flashing. For this one I decided to include the CalMac ferry and berth, as it seemed a stronger composition. I post processing I cropped to a rough 16 by 9 format.

I hope you like this image. As always your thoughts and comments are welcome.

    I like that Peter.

The ferry lights and their reflection add to the tranquility of the scene.

                Re: Tarbert in Blue

I like that very much as it has so much going for it from the starlight and reflections to the deep blue of the sky and how it shows how still and tranquil Scottish weather can be (although the flags are fluttering a bit so I suspect LE - what was the exposure then?)

                Cheers,
                John
