    Emperor moth Caterpillar

Walk over the Heathland this morning, found several of these in a very small area. All in the final instar.

Like this very much Trev. Think it could be even better cropped to a portrait format. What do others think? Regards, Ian.

Lovely vibrant colours. I thought the same as Ian regarding a portrait crop, especially if there was a bit more room at the top.

Here's the Portrait crop, had already thought about this but decided on the landscape giving it a bit more colour with the Bell Heather

I prefer the portrait Trev but can see why you and others would prefer the landscape crop.

Both crops have their merits, the portrait showing more detail as it is bigger in the frame and the landscape reveals more of the environment.
I am leaning towards the landscape version, great shot too Trev.

Prefer the Portrait crop but both work . Nice colours , guessing it`s quite large ?
