    A study in straight lines,verticals and angles.

    All those juxtaposed like this caught my eye today..

    That is interesting Roy....
    black and white certainly abstracts the essential form from the coloured complete image.....good diagonals across the image formed by the platforms broken by a series of uprights.
    I like it....well spotted and imaged!

                Thank you John,I'd moved across to platform 2 to wait for my return train.The shot was taken from my seat.

                I hope to go back there next month to get some twilight shots,I think the station atmosphere will be transformed when the lights are on.

                          With that much fuss and complexity that really should not work... but it does!

                          I suspect it would be far less effective in colour.

                            Thanks Nigel,you're right..it shouldn't work,but happily it does.

                            The colour original looks very flat and does nothing for me at all,which is why I decided on mono.
