Great shot of a wonderful bridge, hope you came up with your passport, especially if you are entering Perthshire?

Wonderful lighting Jeff and the exposure and composition are just spot on.

However, I think there is more to come from this image and if you don't mind, may I suggest a little more contrast and perhaps a very gentle vignette top and bottom?

Here is what I had in mind:

Nice shot Jeff, Colin's version really enhances the image too.

That was a wow shot to begin with and Colin has made it even more wow!

          The light is absolutely perfect.

Thanks guys for the kind comments.

I settled on the edit I did as that worked for me without pushing it too much further from the scene that was presented to me

Sorry for the late reply but I have been rather well travelled this last week. Three days in Scotland followed by a drive back through the night Sunday. Getting back to Norfolk on Monday/Tuesday for work and having my boat engines serviced.
Been a rather expensive few days as during the servicing today it was discovered that my port side engines turbo has seized......Ho Hum!!
Now back in Sunny Clacton and I'm off to bed for some much needed beauty sleep

Both nice images. I like the comparatively understated nature of the original and also the greater zing of the edit. I would probably have settled somewhere between the two but let that not diminish what is a great shot

                    Cheers,
                    John

                        Thanks John and Tom,

I may play a little further with the image and submit it into next weeks opening competition at my camera club.
I’ll let you know how it fairs
