I've just realised while configuring the EOS R that while focussing in manual mode with focus peaking switched on and the depth of field button pressed you can see what the actual depth of field will be....with a red line surrounding all features that are in focus from closest to most distant
This is a real advantage of mirrorless providing a clearer indication than with an optical viewfinder which naturally darkens as the lens is stopped down.....amazing!
This is great for landscape and macro....It cant be done with auto-focus though.
I've configured the video button to DoF preview.
I guess this is the same on the RP and M series cameras.
