    Birds of Prey

Pictures from my trip to The British Bird of Prey Center at The National Botanic Gardens of Wales. I haven't done any bird photography for years but decided that I ought to go back to it. Buying a replacement 70 - 200 lens presented a superb excuse so I set of with a friend from my camera club, to have a go. Here are some of the results

Thanks for the comments. I don't use extenders. I rely on the fact that with a 5D MkIV I can crop if required.
I have revived my love of bird photography and all the better that I have a more expert friend who can direct me to the best places to go. Llanelli Wetlands next I thinks.

They are certainly a different sort of challenge to capture than the other 'birds' I photograph, but equally beautiful and they don't criticise my editing.
