I visited Rievaulx yesterday for this event. Having first visited the site earlier on the afternoon to identify places to shoot from and check that tripods were allowed. The event was well put together anyone who knows this venue will be aware of the limited on site parking. English Heritage had organised the event well with shuttle buses running from Helmsley to the site. It worked for me, though I understand not all attendees were happy, one example was of some being disappointed that they couldn't bring their dogs to the event but dogs are allowed during the day, not to mention that there was a cover charge even for English Heritage members!

#1 The moon inside the Abbey.
#2 The Moon Museum, the event included a presentation on various historical elements of human understanding of the moon including information on the moon landing. This is probably the best moon image I've ever captured especially with a 24-105L . I thought the inclusion of the people added to this image.
