    I've had this ring flash for ages....works great on manual....but ETTL seems to underexpose by 3 stops.

    Any ideas please?

    I didn't notice this on the 5DIV....but I'm now using the EOS R.

    I wonder if mirrorless cameras like the R and M uses a slightly different metering method which the flash is not fully compatible with...

    It could be Nigel....I wonder if this happens on the Canon version.
    My 600EX-RT works ok with the R
