First one is a stunning shot Gary,well taken.I think it outshines the second one by a mile,not that there's anything wrong with number 2,just my personal opinion.

Lovely photos! Nice to see great photos of a very common bird like the mallard that you can find in the nearest pond - no need to travel far away to get good and interesting photos!
