    When I were nobbut a nipper......

    and attending Pepper Street primary school, my thoughts at this time of year would have run on precious little else besides........

    Me too. Simpler times probably never to be seen again Although I suppose they could always tie strings to old smartphones )

      Me too, great fun playing conkers in the school playground. Plus being out in the fresh air collecting them. Thanks for the memory John

        Been doing this just this morning - picking up conkers in the wood. Yes happy memories, I used to bake mine, made em a bit harder

            Yes that was another way. Also keep them until the following year in the airing cupboard.
